I am a mom and a teacher, often with days so full everything seems like a blur. For me, "down time” means creating and I’ve learned that immersing myself in art is the best way for me to recharge.

I enjoy experimenting with unusual color combinations, mark making with found objects, and collaging with painted papers. My life has had many twists and turns and my favorite pieces are the ones I paint with a process that reflects that - alternating layers of intensity and of peace in an unpredictably satisfying union of texture and color.
